Line 6 Spider V 120 Guitar Combo Amplifier (120 Watts, 1x12")

Despite its mind-boggling number of amp, cab, and effect models, the V 120 is deceptively simple to control. At 120 watts, this amp is ready for any stage.

This amp is perfect for playing at home and having fun with. I don't play in a band, so I can't say if it good for gigging with. This amp sounds great. It doesn't replace my tube amp, but I dont think any solid state amp does. I think this amp comes as close to tube amp sound as possible though. I highly recommend this amp for anyone learning to play guitar, like myself. The range of tones is awesome. I read alot about people having trouble connecting their devices to the amp. This was a big concern for me because the info online is kinda vague. I have a Samsung Tab S2. I had to buy a high speed USB 2.0 A to B printer cable and a USB 2.0 A female to micro B male converter OTG adapter cable in order to hook the amp to my tablet. I had no issues what so ever.

So I bought my spider v 120 about a month ago and man I love it. First let me start by giving zZounds big props delivery only took a few days and it was well packaged as always love you guys.. The amp itself has all the punch you will ever need but can be dialed in for very crisp clean tones as well. The drum loops that are on this thing are awesome to jam with when you are practicing by yourself. Long story short there are to many things this baby can do to list in this review. If you like combo amps but you were tired of the old spider line of combo amps by line 6 you need to check the spider v line out they are way better than the older versions. Line 6 stepped up their game with this one. When I paired this amp up with my Squier classic vibe 50's Tele I also bought from zZounds I was making sweet music in no time. Buy one you won't regret it.

The presets aren't horrible but with a little tweaking it sounds pretty great. plenty of volume to jam with a full band. The loop feature is really nice. I have bought amps that cost more and don't sound as good. For the dollar I'd say it's a five star!!
