When I ordered the guitar over the phone they gave me a discount so the price wasn't all that bad. The EMG tax can be a little heavy, but I plan on putting in an EMG 57/66 set for better dynamics so all I have to do is unplug the pickups and plug in the new one :). This guitar is a little heavier than what I normally play, but it's not nearly as heavy as a Les Paul Standard. I love that it's a single cut away, has a set neck and the neck is one of the smoothest necks I've ever played on. It came with 10 through 46 gauge string and I normally play 9 through 42 gauge so I had to adjust the action and sadly the string wrap job on strings was horrible, but zZounds is a very reasonable company and sent me a set strings to replace the ones that broke off. This is a very well rounded guitar, but in my opinion it would suit rock, hard rock, metal and shred guitarists best. I guess you could play it for blues or jazz, but I wouldn't recommend this guitar for country at all. I plan on getting another one of these, but the next one will be a Seymour Duncan model.

Musical Background:

34 years of playing and barely all that decent lol.

Musical Style:

Metal, Hard Rock, Blues and Shred.
