I have my first gig this weekend. Hope everything goes well. So far I am satisfied. The unit is more likely to break if taken for live shows.
Sound
Simply put - awesome sounds. I have used a roland in this price range. Korg's sounds are so realistic and come with a huge bank of samples including Tabla and other East Indian samples. You can pretty much edit any parameter to create your own sounds as well.
Features
Does not have USB audio input or a mic input. Output level on the 1/4 inch main output is very low. You have set the level on the mixer to the max and even then no clipping. Only 80 voices max polyphony. Would be nice if it had 128. I have not hit the 80 limit yet even with Drums, sequencing and live playing. Apart from that it has it all.
Ease of Use
Sequencer is not the easiest to use. User interface between style editor and the sequencer is not consistent. There is a bit of a learning curve. Once you get used to it, things flow smoothly. I have seen it freeze a couple of times when on sequencer mode.
Quality
It is plastic casing. It would be nice to pay 200 more and have it built in a metal casing. The shape (although cool looking) is very incovenient to carry. It does not fit in your standard 61 key cases. Carrying this without a case is very awkward as the display projects up.
Value
For the price you can't beat it. As mentioned before I wouldn't mind paying couple hundred bucks more to get a more solid build quality.
Manufacturer Support
The first unit I bought had a bad memory chip. I could not save anything to the SSD. I called Korg and at first they thought it was an older version of the OS. So I downloaded and tried to install the latest OS. The memory was so corrupt that I could not even install the OS. I called Korg again and explained at which point they said the chip was probably shot. Called zzounds and they shipped out a return label right away and shipped a new unit. This one works like a charm.
The Wow Factor
Shape may look cool, but not practical. Color makes it look like a kid's toy.

"Great unit with outstanding sounds and styles with some minor flaws. Amazing sequencing features."

Not recommended for live musicians, this is intended for the home arranger market.
Sound
best sound under 2 grand, sound is expressive as long as you learn how to tweak it, 4 effects unit make this unit stand out, professional features found on this PA500.
Features
double sequencer, lyrics, touch screen, everything looks and feel great, the are 3 limitations however, there is no "performance favorites" button, you need to have a paper list for it, there is no USB to device, bye, bye pen drives, and output sound is overall very low, not intended for live musicians, it does come with unbalanced outputs, overall from -10 to -15 db below korg synth normal output levels. This is a great keyboard for home use.
Ease of Use
You need to learn the OPOS OS from korg, however this is a great OS, once you get use to it, it's rolls by itself. learning curve is rather small. you get all the features to modify your sound to your personal taste, so many you will be overwhelmed.
Quality
So so quality, looks fragile, not appropriate for use "on the road" you better get a hard case for it. everything is plastic, AC adapter connector looks and feels very fragile.
Value
great value, best arranger under $2000 range. styles are unique, sound like real instruments, wind and guitar sections are great, performances are unique, you can layer up to 4 voices simultaneously, 3 for the right, backing for the left.
Manufacturer Support
I haven't tried that yet
The Wow Factor
sex appeal is good, a good looking unit, if you like blue. special handlers make transporting easy.
