"Max Efficiency"

I replaced a 1400 watt system where each of the speakers plus the powered mixer each weighed as much as this system. Add speaker stands, cables, setup time...This system is simple to set up, simple to use, and has great sound. Not as powerful as my old system, but I never dialed the master volume past a "3" anyway. So 35 pounds total weight, less than five minutes setup for great sound. The tough decision to make is, do I plug it in, or use battery power?

"Underpowered"

I want to love it, but it is underpowered, even plugged in. The portability is nice, and when I use it I generally only run 1 vocal and possibly a kick drum for a little presence, but not a huge boom, and I have to turn it up to almost 10 to even hear it over the music (and I'm not loud at all, I do a lot of small clubs and bars) and when I do hear it, the vocals are distorted. I have used it with just one acoustic guitar and a vocal, and honestly, my little Fishman amp is louder and sounds better. I'm only keeping it around for the battery backup (and I might just go ahead and get the Fishman). I have a Harbinger system that is the same thing and is louder, clearer and just sounds better. Disappointing for sure.

Very dissatisfied, lacks power and clean sound. Only had for a little over a year and already have to have warranty service. Quit working during a gig, battery lights just flash red, no sound. Looks like I will pay for shipping to philly, not cheap! Not the JBL quality and reliability of years past. Looking for other brands now!

"Not satisfied"

Upon initial unboxing I’m not satisfied. Plugged unit in and waited about 2 hours to turn it on and no sound. The battery LED indicator is blinking a fast red. JBL tech support was no help and told me it’s supposed to be red and to just wait. Apparently the unit will not work unless the battery is charged even though it’s plugged in. This is probably a deal breaker for me and I will probably be returning unless it finally comes on and sounds great.
