I played this model today at guitar center. I love the low growl the pickups put out along with whatever high I wantrd. I'm 47 and started playing this year. I could have spent more money on my second bass but why when everything my Ibanez lacked the jackson delivered. I couldn't rate manufacturers support but the feel of quality is there and I don't think it will break down before the warranty expires.

I normally play Ibanez,, And then only with active pickups. But this one caught my eye and I tried it out. The sound is good and the neck is built for speed! For the price I was not disappointed.
Sound
I play a lot of heavy rock. Mainly I use Ibanez with active pickups. For a bass with passive pickups it isnt bad.
Value
I think its worth the 299 dollars I paid for it.
The Wow Factor
I loved the neck.. Its built for speed!

Got this Jackson js2 had to do a setup to what i like this bass sounds good got a good tone with the 2 pups light and nice neck on it love the look of this bass going to use it for my next gig in a few week.
