Jackson USA KV2 King V Electric Guitar (with Case)

Built shred-ready with Seymour Duncan JBT4 humbuckers, a Floyd Rose tremolo, and compound-radius fretboard, the Jackson KV2 is a lethally sharp axe.

I've wanted this guitar for over 10 years and I finally got it! well worth the wait.
Sound
This guitar has a great metal sound. It is not as heavy or thick sounding as my Les Pauls but it's still pretty heavy. I has somewhat of a bright attack to it.
Features
The Floyd Rose stays in tune pretty well. I like having two separate volume controls. I never understood why other guitars have two tone controls and one volume. But this is pretty useful.
Ease of Use
Once you get used to the odd shape, it's actually pretty easy to play. Although this is not a guitar that you can play sitting down very confortably.
Quality
The quality is great. What you would expect from a $2000+ guitar. The only issue I had is that one of the ground wires must be loose because there's a loud sound that comes out when the volume is all the way down.
Value
It's a great guitar, I got the snow white with black bevels. But it took a while to save for it. I think it's a little pricey though.

The Wow Factor
The KV2 is down right sexy! from the time I opened the case, to the time I hung it on the wall and stared at it for hours. Can't wait to see what it looks like on stage.

"The finest Flying-V on the market"

I tried to learn how to play guitar when I was much younger, but lacked the discipline, drive and motivation to learn. I blew a whole tax return check on an entry level guitar and ended up pawning it off for $50 bucks. Fast forward about a decade and I decided to try again and really devote the time, effort and energy towards learning the guitar. I went out on a limb and got the most badass USA made Flying V there is...the Jackson KV2. This guitar is a work of art; made by the same craftsmen and in the same shop as the Jackson custom guitars, the fit and finish are amazing. Everything is setup perfectly and it plays amazing right out of the box. The Original Floyd Rose tremolo, the SD TB4 pickups, mother of pearl inlays, the flawless finish, smooth, fast and gorgeous neck & fretboard: This guitar is a professional grade instrument. It's super easy to play, even for a beginner, although this is not a beginner's instrument. It's not exactly marketed as a guitar for metal players, but I would like to have had an EMG pickup combo instead of the Seymour Duncans. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong or bad about the TB4's that the KV2 comes loaded with. However, for such a high quality Flying V, this thing is born to play metal. It is a bit noisy; you'll get a pretty consistent 60 hz hum when your hand leaves the bridge/strings. Nothing a good shielding job couldn't fix though. If you're worried about the price, it's ok, that's normal. Remember though, unless you want to get a custom guitar built, and for probably double this price, this is the finest Flying V style guitar on the market.
Sound
The guitar, right out of the case, sounds amazing. The setup is flawless.

One of the best guitars I have ever played
Sound
It sounds good. It responds extremely well, learning to sweep? This neck makes it easy with the lightning quick response. The only thing I would change is the pick ups. I just prefer the active EMG 60/81
Features
The case is kind of a pain but the guitar is insane.
Ease of Use
It almost plays by itself.
Quality
Very well made I think it will last many many years to come
Value
It's a little pricey but worth it
Manufacturer Support
Never had to deal with support
The Wow Factor
It is very light weight and very small and has great balance. You don't have to have gorilla sized hands to play fast. Easy to get all the way around the neck.

This guitar is the best one I have ever played. Top of the line from head to toe. Light and fast meant to burn. Your need for speed can be quenched on this axe.
