Unless I wanted to upgrade to something with more inputs, there would be no reason for me to look at anything else. This meets my moderately demanding recording needs perfectly. If this were lost or stolen I'd get another immediately. Like I said, if you want a big package of options in a simple, bug-free interface, this is it.
Sound
This review is for the Deluxe model, which I think is almost the same as the lower priced one but doesn't include all the same software. The StealthPedal is the easiest, most bug-free recording interface I have ever used. The included Amplitube software allows infinite tweak-ability and you can achieve nearly any sound you want. I've gotten great metal, blues, rock, country and also patches for vocals and acoustic. I use it only for recording, but the live application is very versatile. You can set it up as a midi-controller, use the pedal feature to control volume, wah, or other individual parameters, and run it directly into a sound board, thus not having to tote all your gear everywhere.
Features
Comes with the USB cable and some software. Amplitube, Ampeg and some recording software. The Deluxe version comes with Amplitube 3 (which is like $150 or so to buy seperately) which greatly expands the available models from Amplitube 2. The major limitation for this product is the number of inputs. It has R/L 1/8" instrument jacks, and that's it. If you need multiple inputs, this is not the product for you. I record everything one track at a time, so only having one input is no big deal for me. I wish it had a seperate mic input. I use a mic cable with an 1/8" jack and plug that into the guitar input. After some tweaking, I was able to get a really good vocal sound out of that. You could always run everything into a mixer and then out into the one input.
Ease of Use
Very easy to use. I downloaded the correct drivers and have had zero compatibility issues with Windows 7. I use Riffworks and Reaper and it's a breeze. I've used a number of other interfaces and this was by far the most trouble-free. There are tons of presets, amps, cabs, mics, effects and everything can be tweaked as much or as little as you like. There are some great sounds right out of the box or you can spend hours playing with all the models and effects. I have used it to record vocals and mic'ed instruments, as well as direct in guitar and bass and the sound is great across the board.
Quality
It's made of metal and is pretty heavy for it's size - seems well built. The USB port is a little 'loose', but works fine. I have been using it almost daily for a while now and had absolutely no problems with it.
Value
Honestly, it may be a little pricey, but the ease of use was worth every penny to me. I've tried some of the lower-cost interfaces and had so many compatibility issues with recording software and Windows that the little extra $$ for the practically plug-n-play set up is worth it.
Manufacturer Support
My only dealing with IK Multimedia was very positive. I was having some trouble locating some of the software updates online. I sent an email and had a response within 24 hours. I was still having trouble so I called the US office in Florida. The girl that answered the phone helped me out. Much, much better than some of the software companies I've had to deal with in the past. There is a great online community that shares patches and ideas.
The Wow Factor
Looks just like a traditional volume pedal.
