"Beautiful Instrument but Needs Fret Edge Fix"

I own 3 Ibanez SR basses; an SR500, SR505, and SR1825. I bought an SR505 last year and found that it had the same sharp fret edges that my SR500 has. I love the SR bass shapes, tone, neck feel, and light weight but the fret edges are so sharp it makes the instrument playable for 30 mins max before my forefinger feels like sandpaper from all the microcuts. I splurged for the higher quality SR1825 because one of the features is "Medium frets w/Premium fret edge treatment." To my disappointment I found that the fret edges were no better than those on the lower priced SRs. I did not return the SR1825 because all the other features and beauty of the instrument make it a keeper, however, Ibanez really needs to fix that issue. Now I have to pay my luthier $100 to fix the issue. It makes an otherwise fantastic bass an instrument I spend more time looking at than playing.
