Ibanez SR1400R Premium Electric Bass (with Gig Bag)

Active electronics and Big Single pickups outfit the SR1400R with a massively thick tone that cuts through the live sound mix like a diamond-bladed machete.

I've owned Ibanez guitar and basses from every Ibanez manufacture facility and the SR1400 Cort factory fit, finish, and feel is right up there with the FugiGen produced guitars. These basses are light but has tone for days, with the active/ passive switch the new Ibanez eq and the Nordi pups you can dial in most any tone you'll need. These are a great value compared to other basses within the similar price range.

The Ibanez SR1400 is a fantastic instrument. Even more comfortable and easier to play than my Kubicki (my only ax for 30 yrs) and the tone is so versatile, to even come close to my Kubicki via tonal adjustments (on kubicki just rotate preamp/tone selector). I am still "dialing in" my sound, but it can get any sound need, meeting the needs of any genre, especially when combined with Mark Bass amp filters (you know what I mean if you use one). The slim neck and great action make this so much fun to play! Hours go by like minutes when I jamming to tunes. The color was of the bass I received was similar to the darker green/brown on the zZounds website, not the bright green shown in most images. Personally I would have preferred the brighter green, i think those pictures look super cool (my Kubicki is the bright teal green). But its still beautiful, especially with the gold hardware.AWESOME BASS.
