I had high expectations of this guitar and I heard so much on the Ibanez quality, and I have tried several other Ibanez's guitars, but I was let down by this one, so I sent the guitar back. I know it could just be that one guitar I received, but I don't want to play send the guitar back until I find one that is correct or do I see this as an omen? I purchased a Jackson USA Soloist from zzounds and it is one of the best guitars I have ever played, the feel, looks, sound it has it all!! Sometimes things do work out for the best!
Sound
The DiMarzio pickups really sounded good at low level, but cranked they lost detail and clarity.
Features
Like the 5 way switch with the split coil feature but would have like to have someway to split the individual coils in the 1 and 5 positions.
Ease of Use
Plug it in and play!!!
Quality
Please Note: This is a $2500 guitar. It arrived and I pulled it out of the case and the strings were way over the standard factory setting height. I could stick a pencil under the 6th string at the 12th fret. I checked the neck relief and it was way off. Here is one of my main complaints, I feel I shouldn't have to take a $2500 guitar down for a setup. It should come close from the factory and just need a little tweaking and most guitarist should know how to tweak to their liking. My USA Jackson Soloist was perfect when it arrived. I will credit for the finish as it was beautiful and had a nice deep color!
Value
I have a 91 Ibanez RG570 which I love, but the neck is so thin it changes with the weather, so I thought I would upgrade and this model as it had all the features I was looking for and a $1000 dollar price drop. I was thoroughly disappointed in this guitar and compared to other cheaper Ibanez Prestige models can't figure out why this guitar is $1000 more than them?
Manufacturer Support
I cannot comment as to Ibanez support as I sent the guitar back to zzounds which has the best customer service!
The Wow Factor
It is a beautiful guitar!

i have this habit of buying new guitars about every month or so. right now im happy with my setup, and ive already told myself that this ones a keeper.
Sound
this guitar is amazing sonding, playing, and is very beautiful. i recently added some active emgs and i cant think of anything else that i could do to make it sound or play better. love it
Features
like i said the only thing that was missing were the emgs.
Ease of Use
one thing i can say is that the new z knife edge trem is sooo smooth and string changes and setups are alot easier
Quality
i have a xiphos, rg 7620 and an rg2620 for backups, but i dont really need them. okay yeah i do, but not cause im i cant depend on the rgt320z. i only keep them for alternate tunings.
Value
it could have come with some custom pickups for the price, but i don't really care.
Manufacturer Support
ibanez has always taken care of me. i love them!
The Wow Factor
the 5-piece wenge/maple neck is awesome. this new trem is amazing. ibanez is really revolutionizing their products. no other brand pays this close attention to all the details and functionality demanded from their products for musicians. i love them
