First of all I do not work for the zZounds... but this is simply the best music store on planet Earth anyone who shops anywhere else has mental problems let me say this Ibanez shipped overnight and it was perfect... the weight the feel... the color all make for a beautiful axe don't let the made in Indonesia label fool you this is a serious guitar I play everything from Stevie to Joe Satriani and I can tell you this guitar is amazing I will try to only play fanned fret guitars from now on don't forget this guitar does not come with the case I would highly recommend the Ibanez case that this guitar fits you will not be disappointed

"Great Guitar"

Got this after returning another iron label six string. Nice finish and great neck. Intonation was great right out of the box. The fanned frets don't feel awkward and the action was nice and low. Great grain in the wood and a cool washed out stain. I was kind of tired of black guitars but not this one. Monorail bridge comfortable for Palm muting and easy to get used to. I will say I'm not overly fond of the eng 808x and the slant takes some getting used to when picking and positioning your hand. Smooth pots. Just a really great 7 string at this price point.

"A great fanned fret at an even better price"

I have used Ibanez guitars in the past, and they never failed to disappoint. There aren't many bells and whistles with this model, but every component is high quality. The fanned frets make playing in the higher registers a breeze, although there was a brief learning curve when I first played. The emgx pickups aren't quite as punchy as the emg 81 and 89 in my Schecter, which I feel leads to a more articulate sound in my clean and distorted playing. Overall, this guitar is a great choice for anyone interested in fan frets, but doesn't want to pay a few grand for a custom build
