Title says it all. This guitar oozes elegance and class and top notch quality, but it is a beast of a guitar. The finish is stunning in person, pics don't do it justice. The exotic woods look fantastic, and the burnt chrome finish on the pickups are the icing on the cake. This is my first encounter with Bare Knuckle pickups, and I am very pleased. The aftermath set here have a very pleasing snarl while retaining clarity and balance across all the strings. I don't do much clean work so someone else would be better suited to attest to that side of the pickups, all I can say is they sound clean and smooth to me. The features of this thing are over the top for the price point. You get Gotoh locking tuners, fantastic Ibanez/Gibralter bridge, aftermarket pickups, exotic woods for the neck and body (Panga Panga, Nyatoh, Macassar ebony) the flame maple top has a nicely pronounced figure that is also symmetrical in the matching. The aurora burst is subtle, but when light hits it the guitar just has this reflective glow around the edges that takes your breath away. Luminlay side dots are added as well which are life savers on a dark stage. For giggles Ibanez even made the headstock logo glow in the dark as well! White body binding really finishes off the elegant look of this thing. If all these great features aren't enough, they also included Schaller "S" straplocks in the box too!! The finish has no flaws that Ive noticed, and out of the box it plays fantastic, only tweaking I had to do was raise the neck pickup just a tad. This guitar is top notch, it has it all - the looks, the sound, the brand reputation, what more could you want? A case... That's the only thing its missing. With all these great attributes and the price, not having a case makes it feel like something is missing. If it came with a case it would no doubt be THE complete package. I'll buy one for it eventually. So, all in all; I'm in love with this guitar.

This guitar is honestly perfect. The neck feels like a dream and the ease of access to every fret is much appreciated. Add in how beautiful the finish is and I have nothing to complain about at all.

I absolutely LOVE this guitar. So I used to crap on Ibanez guitars. Any before this i thought were trash. But wow. This guitar feels, looks, and sounds like the price. The Aftermath pickups super bitey and can get a little ear piercy with high gain tones and if you play big cords on the higher strings but overall, I love them. They're extremely clear. But yeeee I recommend this guitar to modern metal guitarists. Btw this guitar can do clean tones like a boss!

I've been playing guitar for a few years. I used to play around the Bay Area a lot but now I'm in the USAF.
