I've only ever bought ibanez guitars. I've picked up a lot of different brands through the years to try and for some reason ibanez is the only one I've felt inclined to hand over my hard earned cash. Granite I've never played on a kiesel or mayones. Ibanez to me has always been a middle ground for quality. The MPBFX is the first prestige model I've ever owned and I must say I've fallen in love with brand all over again.

Hey guys, long time purchaser and player. I have owned several Ibanez guitars from the 80's to current roster. What I find weird about Ibanez is that most of their instruments are starting to feel and sound the same. There are cosmetic differences (not very many variances in body styles etc), but the feel and sound of the instruments coming out from Hoshino/Ibanez. I have the JEM Jr. and have purchased a few of the Iron Labels, and have owned several of the lower models and prestige models as well. They're like a rental community in South Florida, nice but too uniform. They need some new models before they get stale. This guitar plays very well, but It's totally comparable to their cheaper 400 dollar range guitars and it plays as well as their more expensive models. Very excited to see how the Paul Stanley models play! I do love my Ibanez, but let's experiment boys! It's 2017 MAKE GUITARS GREAT AGAIN!
