Sound is clear and airy. The white binding had a small chip, some 1000 grit sandpaper made it smooth again. It looks like as of 2017 all Rosewood consumer items have an international ban, and to prove otherwise you'll need a stack of paperwork to cross any border. The AC388 looks like it has a solid Rosewood back and sides, along with the top. The Rosewood fretboard is unfinished. The bracing looks durable. The tuners are smooth. Scale is easy to play.
