"A great little cab"

I bought this cab to have a lighter option to carry and use for smaller gigs and practices. I love the switchable 4/8 ohm toggle, which is another reason i bought it. Let me add too that its lightweight! I'm currently using an Aguilar ToneHammer 350 which is a 4ohm amp, it is also lightweight itself - i can now carry my amp, cab, and bass in one trip.I've used it both as a stand alone cab, and I have also paired it with my Hartke 4x10xl cab for huge sound. With a smaller 3 piece group it was plenty loud, but with my 5 piece band (and a louder drummer) i was pushing the limits of its capabilities, which was easily remedied by adding the 4x10. ;)Having the option of switching between 4 and 8 ohms is a huge advantage. The other advantage is its weight. Overall im very pleased with it. It produces warm round tones, and sharp snappy slap tones both with ease. I only ever noticed a slight "burpyness" when maxed out trying to keep up with a loud drummer (which i fully expected) but in every other instance it has just been a great little cab!

I ordered two of these to pair with my GK MB800. I can use two set on 8 ohms for a 4 ohm load or one alone set to 4 ohms. Great speakers lightweight.

This little cab puts out an impressive amount of bass. Better than some of the more expensive 112s on the market. I felt it lacked midrange presence compared to other 12s but that can be dialed in with a good amplifier My Mesa D800 plus adds all the midrangeI need.. Only gripe is the tolex is a little easy to scratch so I suggest getting a cover to protect it. Overall it's a great cab . I bought 3 of them.
