Because I believe it's ahead of it's time, I think it will last for at least 5yrs. I am very proud of Hercules.
Sound
With a 5.1 surround sound card, it provides true/pure sound quality. I use it every week at a small bar to entertain and get compliments on how awesome it sounds. Well I do use the best speakers.
Features
Well, I am a DJ so it suits and meets all of my needs. wish I could access the samples a bit better, but otherwise it's all you need.
Ease of Use
Very easy to set up, easy to configure. Very intuitive. Truly a cut above the rest.
Quality
Exceptional quality. No cheap, my friend who is a guitarist saw it and was impressed with the input/outputs, the steel finish, just don't appear flimsy or easy to break.
Value
It's worth the money. I would buy another.
Manufacturer Support
I called but was on hold for over an hr. And still didn't speak with anyone. That was a bit disappointing it was the night I received it and was having some technical problems. But I called Virtual DJ and they helped me solve the issue.
The Wow Factor
Very super sexy. It has a wow factor. It's size and what it delivers is so amazing. I have owned 4 Hercules consoles, including the MK, MK II, RMX and now the monster 4-MX

The hardware for this unit is perfect. The software has a lot to be desired if you plan on using anything OTHER than microsoft windows. For instance Linux users, including debian, ubuntu, and all such things shall find Hercules does NOT have a current driver for this device. I have had a talk with them and they decided to let their research department know, if you will pursue this understand the hardware is WORTH the purchase EITHER way. Beautiful metal tables, they really are. The decks light with preasure applied to them to give you the mindset to see the depth of your scratches and spins. A very good investment.
