The guitar has a light chiming tone acoustically. A gretsch-y sound for a low cost. The guitar body is larger and deeper than I expected for a guitar with Jr. In the name; it is realistically full sized, but the neck is narrow and works with my small hands. It played well right out of the box. I brought it to a luthier and he didn't feel it needed any further setup. The finish and trim are excellent for a low priced guitar. The electronic pickup and tuner are sound. I like the guitar however I am transitioning from an older Gretsch parlor sized acoustic , and because I 'm an older woman with a small frame and hands, the full size is a minor challenge. If you are comfortable with a full size acoustic, you 'll be fine, and will appreciate the narrow neck. Overall, a good value for the price.
Musical Background:
Returning to guitar after many years. I play at a novice level at present, but it's coming back.
Musical Style:
Folk and traditional mainly. Some new age.
