the filtron pickups are very sensitive and expressive to touch and paying syle=using the master volume you can roll off gain and attack=playing withits individual volumes you can tailor your soun and with the tone add or take mud=still twangy though(just what i wanted) totally its own animal=sounds like no other guitar i owa (les pauls w/hums+p-90s-wasburn strat+sg w/coil taps) also the bigsby work/sounds totall different from the floyds ihave on other humbucker equipped guitars i own. also ive always been inspired by brian setzer and this guitar can get all those tones=it loves tube amps=i ahve a15 watt tube screamer amp w/atc electronics hall of fame reverb and a hofner compresser=perfect for me also play it through my behringer v-tone amp amp and it sounds and responds well with it

i chose this particular one with the humpback inlays,black with chrome hardware=im legally blind and everything is a little easier for me to see=the boody is chambered so you can kind of hear the full body gretsch tone(i think) it was between this and the epi swingster=the swingster is cool but i wanted tha t true gretsch sound not like a gretsch=again i wanted a bigsby trem on it

its very easy and quick to get and change sounds and tones(no push pulls )and easy/quick blending of different sound with a turn of a knpb or a 3 way switch=also plays like silk and stays in tune pretty well after you break in the strings

this thing is made very nice=no finish flaws,good inlys,neck was in good shape,action was nice,and all parts were clean and tight

as always i think a great guitar deserves to come with/in a case=other than that everything is awesome

this part is cool=this thing reminds of an old 60s caddy sleek solid and all chrome(metal) except the pickguard=its definetly it own in my guitar line up=i always wanted a gretscand this is it
