But I do not like the rosewood finger board.Does not have the smooth feel of ebony.Other than that it is a good guitar, not great, but good.I can say if I had played it, I would probably have gotten another model with an ebony board. Gretsch is my favorite guitar brand and I have a 6118 that is my favorite guitar out of 30 that I own. The Panther is good, but for 2500 you would think they could have put an ebony finger board on.

Gretsch finally did it... A guitar to compete with the Gibson ES335. The spruce center block does prevent unintentional feedback.
