I bought this for a friend. I have passive and powered speakers (many) and have worked with numerous mp3 players, bluetooth devices, etc. What I really like about this little unit is the options to play SD or usb storage devices. Also you can run the aux (rca plugs) out jacks to another powered speaker etc. There is aux in jacks to run this from a tv or cd player etc. The radio is nice but little reception seemingly. The usb/sd/bt controller also has repeat and shuffle plus ff and rev. The battery lasts hours. Very portable with wheels and telescope handle. Easy to move around and use wherever. Its only about 15 pounds so not bad. It comes with a mic but if you are getting it for that reason get something bigger. Now WHAT I DON'T LIKE: If you like heavy bass this unit is not for you. 10 inch speaker can only produce light bass. I'm used to 15 inch speakers or systems with subs so. This unit is loud enough for most people but not for me. I like BIG clean sound. But most of my stuff that gives me that weighs 45 lbs or more and isn't that portable. For 140 bucks this unit gives at least your moneys worth. If you want wireless mics you need to go to the bigger gemini (or other brands) units. Bigger sound? Try their AS15 togo. 80$ more and alot heavier.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter, perfect small portable speaker, I was impressed with the sound out of the 10" speaker. Glad I purchased, my daughter will enjoy the blue tooth feature, small compact easy to carry around.
