Superb instrument what a gem. 2016 was a excellent year for Gibson this is my second Les Paul from 2016 my first is a studio both are great but this standard is amazing. Very responsive, great tone and beautiful finish. If you like the 50's neck profile, classic 57's and the plus, locking tuners and a highly refined Les Paul this is the one. Austin was very helpful and courteous.

Follow up review after playing this beauty everyday for three months. Absolutely love this guitar, practically plays itself it’s so easy to play hard to put it down. The tone is amazing from cleans to as heavy as you want to get, the 57’s and walnut are tone monsters, sustain is crazy long with the ironwood fretboard. This baby stays in tune even with heavy bending which is sweet. Just perfect in every way. This is easily a $4000 level guitar with all the refinements and attention to detail from the pearl inlays, fretboard, binding and hand wired electronics. If you are in the market for this level of guitar at a great price plus limited production this is worth pulling the trigger.
