Where to begin? There are rumors about quality issues with Gibson. In this case, this is high class all the way. It came off the truck just needing a tune up and she was ready to go. No issues at all. Neck wise, I was truly scared because every Gibson I had tried before had baseball bat necks, (slim taper included), and stickier than a XXX theater floor. It has the traditional neck, and I have to say it is clearly the best neck, I've ever played. Meaty enough for solos and chords. It isn't a spaghetti neck, you earn your chord and solo. And smooth as glass. The '57 pickups are awesome. I play Country, blues and oldies. It's nice not to have to fight through a hot set of pickups to get a nice clean tone, but will still get dirty. This is my first time with zZounds, and I can tell it will definitely not be the last. Easy to work with. Awesome people.
