Only issue I have is this and it’s not even bad. The Neck pickup is in the Bridge position and the bridge pickup is in the Neck. I figured that out quick. Other than that right out of the box it was set up Perfect.. the sound is amazing. I took off the pick guard cause I just don’t like them that’s no big deal. Sound wise and quality AMAZING

the most amazing guitar, don't believe anybody that tell you an epiphone is just as good a a quater the price, not true. i thought my gibson studio was great but it doesn't even compare. this custome les paul ig much heavier but was expecting that, wasnt expecting the difference in feel. sound due to different pickups and the neck is taking a bit to get uded to. (60 v2) the sustain is looooonnnggg so do yourself a favor and save up vs buying something cheaper thanks to troglies for all the information so i could make the correct choice in les paul models. although i wish they had uded a locking tuner but no other complaints. setup was perfect.

Musical Background:

Musical Style:

love 70's 90's and anything tool ish

Saved up from a second Covid job. Squirreled away enough to get the bucket list guitar, the famed black Les Paul Custom looking like a tuxedo, classy as hell. Bridge pick up doesn’t work. Over $4000 from a custom shop with inspections supposed to be documented on the card that comes with it and the pick up doesn’t work. Go with a cheaper model. Maybe even a PRS. Gibson custom shop doesn’t mean what it used to mean…but their prices sure are custom shop prices.
Sound
Sound from the neck pick up is great. What I expected. But I bought TWO pickups and one doesn’t work.
Features
Least useful is the pickup that didn’t work.
Ease of Use
Neck pickup is easy. Bridge pickup, yeah, not soMuch n
Quality
It’s beautiful. I didn’t scour it for blemishes because the biggest blemish is that it doesn’t freakin work.
Value
Not even close to worth it.
Manufacturer Support
Email sent to Gibson. Refund requested from ZZounds. Still waiting. I’m hopeful that it will get rectified ASAP.
The Wow Factor
It freaky is an historic beauty. Sadly that beauty is a facade.
