This guitar was the last of the 2014 models left, so I bought it. Arrived in 3 days! At a much lower price than the 2015, this guitar has all of the tone and feel of the best 335s, just less bling. Really like the rounded edges instead of binding.

Since this guitar has been delivered, I have not been able to put it down. I am the proud owner of over 20 Gibsons and this one is at the top in playability and tone. The craftsmanship and finish is exceptional as well. Next to a 1960's Melody Maker (i know strange) this may be the best playing Gibson I own. A quick tune out of the box is all this needed. The action and intonation was perfect from the factory. I have put this through three amps now and it sings through every one. A Marshall Class 5 with Holy Grail Reverb Clean is one hell of jazz sound. Add a Big Muff for some seriously dirty blues, adjust the gain and you have brilliant alternative rock sound (this is practice amp set up). Play through my Bluesbreaker and almost want to cry. The guitar through the Roland Jazz Chorus was equally impressive. I seriously love the fact that Gibson got rid of all of the binding and foo foo crap to build just a impeccably playing guitar. I honestly could not be happier. I also personally love the single volume and tone set. Simple is better. Oh yeah zZounds delivered this baby in 2 days with free ground shipping. No Tax, No shipping, and one hell of guitar. I am going back to playing. I think I am going to buy the sunburst one now. Seriously best Gibson I have played/purchased in years.
