I Love it! It's perfect my studio. Looks and work good. Definitely reduces the dirty noise in my guitar amps and reference monitors. I would go for a different and more expensive model with a voltage correction if I needed a protector for LIVE.

It is a great way to protect your equipment. It is also very handy with eight outlets. No issues with the product at all. I can't attest to manufacturer support as I've never needed it and this is the third Furman product I've owned. They have been solid-performing with no issues. So I will say a five-star because I have to say something. The same for "sound."

Does exactly what it is supposed to. Input Voltage meter is handy. Not a true Sine Wave regulator, but you get what you pay for. I like the spacing of the receptacles on the back, for those wall wart things. Using it to provide power/surge suppression for my live keyboard rig. If you invested more than the cost of this thing in your gear, it would be a good idea to buy this.

This unit works great, I do a lot of bars and the electricity is not always stable, with all the money tied up in equipment it's nice to know it is protected. The price was to good to pass up. No sound, haven't needed support.

Had it for about a month now. Its a useful unit especially with the voltage meter. The only thing I would have to disagree with are the incandescent lights, they expell a good amount of heat after an amount of time. Other than that, it a solid piece of equipment.

spent a little extra and got the furman M8Dx cause we wanted stable power in our rack. this thing was perfect. plus it had a couple lights to pull out in front and i always like to have some light behind the rack to look through the lower drawers. everything was fine until one day when plugging everything in at our weekly dj/ karaoke show, it failed....miserably so. we have all powered speakers. 4 powered peavey darkmatter 112s, 4 behringer 18 powered subs, with presonus 16 channel board, line 6 and akg wireless microphones as well as a really sweet dbx unit. all of our rack gear was plugged into the furman with the speakers and subs on seperate circuits. we plugged in the power and started hooking up the xlrs to our tops and then hooked the xlr cables to the subs. after that, it was time to turn on the speakers. started with the speakers and then went to the subs and the moment i did they were redlining. i turned it off and started scratching my head. theres no audio playing why did they red line? then i smelled it. burning electronics!! i immediately unplugged power to eveyrything and started diagnopsing. all 4 of our peavey dm112s were blown. speakers were fine but electronics were fried and not playing audio. the subs miraculously made it out alive. i assume because they werent plugged in as long. pulled out the volt meter and saw there was poer in the ground of the xlr audio cables. HOw?! ill tell you how. after checking every outlet for leaking power to groud and fining none, i finally checked the furman power conditioner. 10 volts of power going between the nuetral and the ground. completely fried all 4 tops , my line 6 wireless reciever, and burned out our dbx unit. no power surges or anything. just one day, this power conditioner told us to screw off and gave us line voltage to ground that went through the board and mics, then the dbx and then to the speakers and subs. had to buy four new tops that we couldnt afford and sacrificed two of our regular gigs and a big christmas party cause we wouldnt have them in time. ill be talking with furman tomorrow and i would seriously hope they will do something about this. the one thing that was supposed to protect my equipment was the thing that destroyed almost all of it. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. ABOUT 2,500 DOLLARS NOT HAPPY TO BE EXACT.
