I've been through 4 Pedaltrain boards and always had the problem of uncomfortable switching for top pedals, terrible soft gig bag, back braking flight cases, pedal settings screwed up, pedals being knocked off, and so on and so on. I've giged with this badass Friedman board for over a dozen gigs both in and out of town and the pedal settings are always right where I left them. You get what you pay for when it comes to gear, and in the long run you save money by buying something that is quality. The soft case is pro grade, the board is ergonomically designed for an actual live musician. Most boards seem like a glorified slab of aluminum but this is thoughtfully designed.
