These Fender Bass Strings sound absolutely stunning on my J Bass. They feel perfect and when I hit an open E the tone is robust and clear. I tried another set of "Poly Coated" Bass strings that cost twice what these Fenders do and was disappointed. I have a Rickenbacker Bass that I exclusively use Rotosounds on but rather then use them on the J Bass I will stick to what works well which are the Fender Bass 7250M .45 - .105 Nickel Plated Roundwounds.

Don't pay any attention to the low price these are great strings. Have used Fender 7250's on all kinds of bass guitars they always sound great and feel good. Years of use have proved quality. I put them on my Jazz bass, my PJ, and my Squire, have used them on Samick, Music man, OLP, and Epiphone basses, all good.
