"Best looking, sounding and playing guitar I have ever owned.....period"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I have owned many many guitars over the years. Some have been expensive, some definitely have not. I would rate this as the best guitar I have ever owned. The sustain on this neck through guitar is excellent. The playability is better than any Les Paul Custom I have had. The humbucker has the character of a beast, but you can dial it down with the volume and get what you need from her. The fact that it only has one humbucker and one volume pot is perfect. No fuss and worrying about all the other electronics I basically never use anyway. When I found this guitar, I sold 2 of my higher end guitars. No joke. I was so blown away with this guitar that it made me mad in the first place that I shelled out all that money before because nothing in this price range would ever come close to what I had before. The Korean build is excellent. The mirror finish and black hardware tied in with the pearl scorpion on the dark rosewood fretboard and the antique cream binding has got to be the sexiest guitars I have ever seen. The way this guitar plays and sounds is the most important thing though. I will never part with her. That is probably why they are so rare. In the first place, they made very few between 03 and 04. The fact that it is an incredible instrument makes people hold on to them however and that is why you rarely see them. Get one if you can!! Good luck finding one though?

"If you find one, buy it"

Amazing, not for the Tele purist though. Light, stable, awesome finish. I replaced the PUP- the original was 16k and it as a little too much, too much of one same thing I would say. One humbucker is plenty, amd I dont miss the neck piece, if you coil split it, even better.

"Killer Guitar with a big Stinger."

Overall: 4.5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I expect this guitar wil meet most of my requirements. I may have to supplement this guitar if the need for a whammy bar is to great and / or a need for a neck pickup. My experience is however, you tend to use the back pickup most of the time. The upside of not having the whammy bar is that the guitar will tune and sustain better and be more reliable.
Sound
Cranked up through a Marshall amp the sound is simply awesome. The pickup has a nice edge sound to it crisp on the attack and smooth all the way. I was very impressed with the sustain but that's more to do with the guitar. I wouldn't see any need to swap out this pickup. On the clean channel it had a well rounded sound.
Features
Simplicity is the key here, less is good. No cumbersome Trem system, no annoying locking nut. No useless tone controls. The quality of the guitar is outstanding it almost reminded me of a high end Gibson with the contoured body and binding. The paint is a mirror finish jet black and all hardware is matt black which I think sets this guitar off. Strings pass through the back of the body which I like a lot. The Scorpion inlay is a nice touch too.
Quality
Like I said before it looks and feels like a high end Gibson. I just can't fault it.
Value
For the money I can't see anything beating it.
Manufacturer Support
The guitar is flawless .. so who cares.
The Wow Factor
This guitar looks totaly Killer and has the "Sting" to back it up.

Second best guitar i have ever played... second to the jackson made charvel spectrum, but this guitar was needed for songs in different tuning.. the only bad thing about a floyd rose!! this guitar is awesome, never play my gibson lp anymore, this thing is way better!
Sound
The sound is incredible, and the sustain is unbelievable, it really has a sweet spot for pinch harmonics, AND LIGHT AS HELL!
Features
Simple, the way guitars are meant to be.. There is no bs on this instrument just straight to the point.
Quality
Looks great, feels great and sounds great. I've owned many guitars and this has one of the best actions i've ever played, maybe second to the charvel spectrum (best guitar).
Value
Expensive now cause they are rare, but still great value
Manufacturer Support
Never used it.
The Wow Factor
GRRR... this thing is raunchy

Fender Esquire Custom Scorpion Electric Guitar (Rosewood) Customer Review

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
This is the axe to use for rock/metal balls music. Because this special edition guitar isn't made anymore, this is even more valuable. I'd be depressed if this was stolen or lost.
Sound
This is a raw guitar with an edge. It's no mess to the point sound is easy to work with. It's also a lound guitar that was made to push the pedal to the metal. I dig it. And the clean sound is pretty good but not as full as a tele or strat.
Features
MAterials are high quality. THere's only one volume knob and that's it. Some players may want more features.
Quality
The quality is really good. The finish is one of the best features. I think this guitar is one of the slickest looking guitars, especially for the price.
Value
For the price, there isn't a better guitar.
