Before I bought this pedal, I had the Ibanez Tube Screamer, BOSS DS-1, and Electro-Harmonix Big Muff on my pedal board.Five minutes after messing with the MTG Tube Distortion Pedal, I tossed aside my DS-1.This thing is absolutely killer. The tones I am pulling out (in conjunction with my Vox AC30 and Fender Elite Strat (SSS Configuration) ) are out of this world! And then to add even more bite the Tube Screamer accentuates it perfectly, but it sounds great on its own as well. This pedal is great for classic rock, punk, and alternative rock, but it can even be pushed for light medal (think Iron Maiden). It's just a great pedal all around, and I highly recommend it.
