This is a great bass. The only thing that I found that they could have added, would be a pickup blend control knob. Other than that, no complaints.

"Expected Better, Returned It"

I really expected better from Fender, but this one just didn't do it for me. First, the hard shell case had a deep 2-inch gash in it right out of the box. Upon opening the case, 2 saddle screws were lodged in the frets and obviously not in the saddles. Once I got those back in place, I started to tinker around with it and the knob came off the 5-way switch....flew across the room. That was strike 3 on the quality scale right there. The tone was just farty, dull and hollow. I ran it through my new V3 Fender Rumble 500 and it just did not sound good at all. I've got a $200 Squier VM Jaguar that makes this Fender sound like a tinker toy. Overall, I was really disappointed in the bass, and for the price and the Fender name, I expected a lot more than what I got. It is a beautiful bass, and zZsounds' return policy is absolutely amazing, but this particular bass was an epic fail.
