"ALEX PEREZ created a masterpiece for FENDER I feel n hear"

Alex Perez who I feel in my hands and hear with my ears has created an explosive new entry in the new Alternative Reality Series. Thinner with it's body cut, it molds close to the body and gives me a more ergonomic strum and shortens my picking sweep it seems, feels. The first power chord I played kinda struck me in the gut. The midrange is deep and the highs crisp pclean. The 2 pickups chosen totally complement each other. Like to stud lead guitarists that go all out to out power the other. The oiled neck feels like well worn pair of gloves. The tuners keep her in tune just fine. I have an issue with the jack placement.(only cause I dont yet have an angled cord.) The vintrols are placed in easy to access locations. And the neck is well balanced. No dive. PAU FERRO fingerboard beautif. No fret ends sticking out. Well conceived and constructed.

This new Fender masterpiece of a guitar is perfect for someone (like myself) who wants the sound and feel of a classic Strat, with more simplistic and straightforward features. It boasts that authentic Fender sound, yet caters to the modern generation of rockers perfectly. Plus, it looks totally badass. Well worth the money.

"The Powercaster"

Got my Powercaster 3 weeks ago. Feels like the search is over and I have found what I love. (This is my 20th e-guitar, I've been playing for 25 years.) On my hands it sounds very hard rockish on Atomic humbucker and warm smooth bluesy on P-90. The Powercaster is also very fun and easy to play because of it's short scale and roundish fretboard. It feels wonderful to make some bluesy slow bends with P-90 on and feels much more easier to bend than with Teles and Stratos.Neckshape made me little worried about how adjustomatic bridge was adjusted. But Fender made bridge's profile round as well with those adjustment pieces and the guitar is very playable.Sunburst colour looks stunning. Guitar is slim and light to hold. Plug for cable is designed to be in higher position than usual, so it does not scratch chair or sofa. Highly recommended! I would buy another Powercaster, if this was stolen.

The roasted neck is great. i bought the White Opal version and love the flake/pearl color more than I expected. My only gripe is the so called "Deluxe Gig Bag", it's not Deluxe, it's just a plain old gig bag. Better than none?
