Since there are no reviews for this guitar, I thought I would try to be as helpful as possible in reviewing this model. Being a long time Fender fan, I try to keep up with their different Stratocaster models that surface every year. This one caught my eye as I was looking for a project guitar to beef up at some point in the future. I also really liked the aesthetics on this model as well. After getting the guitar out of the box, the action was high and the strings were a bit thin (Fender Super Bullets) for my taste. I did a complete (strings, truss rod, back spring adjust, bridge saddles, and pickup height, etc) set up of the guitar and it is playing great now. The frets were a bit rough along the edges of the neck, but nothing to bad that I cannot smooth out. This guitar sounds great being a standard Strat with single coils. The finish on the body was spot on and really stunning. I like the satin feel/look because it does not smudge up as easily as a high gloss finish. The neck is comfortable and easy to get around on. Bottom line, if you are looking for a basic Strat this one is a good starting point. Be mindful that it will need to be set up for your playing preference though. For me, this guitar is a good deal for the price point and I plan to upgrade the electronics/pickups in the future.
