I think this guitar is awesome, the improved bridge and trem bar bushings are a big plus. I've owned a '62 AVRI Jaguar, and still own a '62 AVRI Jazzmaster. This Jonny Marr Jaguar has those improvements, that while sounding much like the AVRI guitar, it ahs some extras (position 4 plays both pickups in hubmucker style), so you get the added boost and extra grown when playing that (great for some overdrive and solos). The guitar is very versatile if you are into fender style guitars. One thing to note (but this is true to any jazzmasters or jaguars) is that they sustain less than a tele (due to the bridge it has), so just be ware that the sound is a little more percussive, but that's is whats great about it! The trem is very stable and the guitar doesn't get out of tune with light use of the trem. One other thing, is the guitar has a very nice weight to it, that is a good thing in my book, it is not super light, you can feel the quality in this guitar! Awesome purchase, this is a keeper!

This one needs to be played to believe the palette of sound this Jaguar can produce. The Bare Knuckle pickups along with the 4 way switch with the ability to put the two single coil Bare Knuckle pickups into a big humbucker configuration is awesome. The improved whammy bar is very nice too. A bit on the heavy side, but not quite as heavy as a LP. The rosewood fret board is of the finest Rosewood. I compared it to other rosewood fret board guitars and this one is outstanding. A thing of beauty and a real player.

I've been checking out Jags, played about 4 of them... then I heard about the Johnny Marr Jag..after alot of research and vids, and never touching one, I bought one(lake placid blue)..nervous as hell ...until I played it right out of the box..totally blown away....if you're even thinking about a Jag...the Johnny Marr Jaguar is the one(imo)...every sound, every switch position, is completely usable...i didn't like the filter switches on the reg Jag...the thought he put into this guitar really shows...If you get a chance to play one of these?..you won't let it go..an absolute stunner!

Typically mod every guitar I get from jump but the Jophnny Marr Jaguar leaves no wants in my mind. Neck and action are great and the sounds possible from these pickups and wiring are insane. Love it. My tele will be jealous

What can I say, Fender and Johnny Marr designed one heck of a beast with his signature series Jaguar. Very versatile, great playing neck, well balanced and very powerful. I am extremely happy with this guitar.
