The EMG 707's sound fat and heavy when distorted or run through a darker sounding effect overlaid with chorus. Yet at the same time, given the right effects they can sound anywhere from punky, to jazzy and I've even played blues on it. Very pure sound. First guitar I've actually grown fond of using both pickups on the middle position.

Neck through, high quality parts, can't complain. I did need to set it up though fairly quickly after I got it.

The neck feels great, dead on intonation, and the Alder body balances out the darkness of the low B and the inherent darkness that comes along with EMG pickups.

Handmade in Japan by ESP, hands down one of the best guitars I own, and instantly my favorite. Just feels amazing.

It plays as well as many guitars twice its price, and looks great too.

Haven't had to deal with them regarding this guitar, but have with another and they were very helpful.

Surprised how great the black looks too since I ordered it sight unseen. Very pretty guitar. Everywhere I take it, people comment and love it. ESP has a repuataion for very well built guitars, and this one exceeds my expectations (I own several other LTD and ESP guitars.)
