Waited a few weeks to give the guitar a solid non bias review. I am surprised at the quality of this guitar, it was playable out of the box. However, will need a proper setup to really get a great tone. First off you have to remember this is not his Gibson signature which is over $5k, however it plays so fast, once you get use to the neck. The reason I say this is because I am used to playing Les Paul Standards, so getting this guitar in the right position to play it while sitting down took me some effort to find that sweet spot balancing it on my leg. Overall it screams, I play it through a Marshall amp without pedals and it is so freaking close to Jason's tone its not even funny. I am sure once I add the tube screamer it will be even closer to his tone. I highly suggest to get a hard case for it. I am not a fan of gig bags because with temp changes it can affect the guitar's playability. In a hard case you can control the inside humidity and prevent the neck from either going in or out and having to adjust the truss rod. Plus its a sound way to protect your investment from getting knocked over etc. Especially when you have to big Newfoundland dogs running around your house lol.

Great guitar. It came a month earlier than expected. I pulled it out of the box and tuned it up and played it for a hour or so. Definitely needed to be set up. I dropped it off to be done. It kinda sucks when you spend the money on a guitar and then you have to drop more money on it to have it set up right. But it’s all good. Love it anyway.
