While waiting for this guitar to be delivered I made a mental list of all the possible aftermarket parts that might need to be replaced to bring it up to gig speed (wraparound bridge, tuners, P90 pup, nut, 50's wiring kit). None of those need to be replaced on this beauty! I put on a set of Curt Mangan 11-48's, installed a .225 Fralin P90 shim and adjusted the relief and action and this thing is competitive for sound and playability with locals using Fralin +5% overwound P90's. I'm a VERY satisfied customer.

After reading tons of reviews, watching all the videos and chat room reading, I took a shot and ordered this guitar without ever playing one. That’s something I’ve never dared do but the price and features really had me gassin. I’ve owned countless USA Gibson’s, from faded series, to a les Paul standard, many in between. Owned many Gibson Les Paul juniors and an SG Junior for a while too and I’ve gotta say, this thing really holds its own. In fact I think I may actually like this Junior more than the several USA Gibson juniors I owned. Stellar craftsmanship, playability and TONE! This P90 is my favorite P90 I’ve owned so far, I haven’t even shimmed it up yet. I’ve always stuck with slimmer necks, 60’s style etc. All the reviews of this one being “chunky” was one thing I was concerned about, until I got the guitar in hand. So comfortable and easy to play I’m blown away at the playability and feel, I wish I had given more guitars with fatter necks a shot now. I’ve had this guitar for a full week now, been playing for multiple hours daily since it’s arrival and I can’t get enough. The natural acoustic tone is great with fantastic sustain. It’s not as loud as my Gibson’s acoustically but still has great clarity which translates well when plugged in. Like another reviewer wrote, this guitar already feels like an old friend and I agree. I’ve only owned a few other Epiphone electrics but this is an absolute keeper. zZounds shipped this guitar quickly and it arrived safe, Double boxed with factory case Candy in tact. If you’re unsure, give it a shot, you won’t regret it. Epiphone is killing it right now, they make a great guitar for a fraction of the cost. You can’t lose.

only took 1 day to deliver this and it was double boxed and epi box factory sealed . .I cant express how good this thing came to me without sounding like i'm gushing ! rolled fretboard , smooth fret edges , polished fat(low) frets and already set intonation . .Guitar is absolutely amazing out of the box !!!!! all i did was add an 1/8 turn of relief , installed a fralin .225 shim and this guitar is ready for gigs . .an absolute steal for the money . . Received yesterday and playing today as if it were an old friend ive had for decades . P90's are a touch hotter than most about 8.5k . it screams ,working the volume and tone on this guitar makes it a great platform to experiment . . GO FOR IT WORTH THE $$$$ HANDSDOWN

That is by far the best guitar I've ever had. This is my 4th one over the years, I play sporadically. My first was an Aria Pro II, second a cheap Tele bullet & a Sterling SUB Axis. I had my brother mod the Sterling with DeMarzios & a real Floyd Rose bridge. This one buries them all. I actually wanna learn to play better. Not just mess around. The P90 Pro, the Graphtech nut, the vintage tuners & the set neck! WOW!!

This guitar came today, only had to wait 4 days. I've been waiting for Epiphone to "reissue" a P90 set neck junior for a while, and I saw this one on the NAMM show coverage on YouTube. Fit and finish is outstanding, plays great after a few minor tweaks to my taste, and sounds sweet. Real pleased with the new headstock shape and tuners too. A for real junior, for not a lot of money. Very satisfied :)

Been playing guitar for 30 years. This is the first review I’ve ever written for a Guitar. I’ve been wanting a Junior for several years and just couldn’t bring myself to pay for the Gibson. I was interested in the Epiphone, but I was concerned it would feel cheap in my hands. I was very wrong. The guitar feels amazing. You know how some guitars really just feel great in your hands? This is one that does. The fret work is outstanding. No sharp ends. No buzzing. No leveling needed. I lowered the action just a touch. Intonation is actually perfect…literally perfect. The frets could use a quick polishing, but that is a 10 minute job. The pickup sounds fantastic. It’s just a great guitar. Feels amazing and sounds amazing. Other than a nitro finish and a Gibson headstock I can’t imagine how the Gibson could be an improvement. I love telecasters and have several and none have ever come out of the box with this setup and playability. I highly recommend this guitar.

I bought this guitar through the Pay as you Play program along with other things almost a year ago. I absolutely love this guitar! I did not think that I would like this guitar as much as I had initially thought. I bought this to fill the P-90 void in my world of guitars. I never realized how versatile P-90's actually are. I can get the spank of a single coil and with the volume cranked I can get to that loud humbucker territory. The guitar itself is light (for LP style guitars) which makes for easy going on the shoulders. It has a baseball bat feel to the neck (chunky), which for me I love. Definitely feels like a Les Paul. The finish looks great and the guitar came quickly and packaged well. This guitar is simple to use and helps you figure out how important tone and volume knobs can be to your overall sound. I did knock 1 star because my volume pot is a littke sketchy. I do have some Deoxit, so when I stop being lazy I'll give it a squirt and see if that rectifies the issue. If not, it's not that big of a deal for me to replace it for I know schematics and soldering. It could be problematic for someone to take that issue in to get fixed because then that is even more added costs. All and all I would highly recommend this guitar to any player and of any skill level especially with the price point and overall quality of the guitar.

This Guitar to me is the equivalent to a Telecaster in it's simplicity. The Wood and Craftsmanship are perfect. Lollar P-90 coming because I can't say the Pickup is quiet enough for me. I put a beautiful Graph Tech Black Tusq and it just plain looks better. My Dad bought me a 1956 Gibson Les Paul Jr. when I was 15 for $250 which got stolen from me. This is my way of re-experiencing what I lost. Cannot handle the Plastic Tuning pegs. Jonesy Blues Wiring coming too. Check him out on the Internet for Authentic GibsonReplacement Electronics.

I've owned way more vintage guitars than I want to admit to! Having said that, I wasn't about to spend $1400 plus o a Junior. This guitar is easily BETTER than the vintage versions I've had!I did change the bridge to an adjustable unit, put locking tuners on it, and installed a vintage pickup, and shim as well. This guitar is amazing now!! And still well under the price ofthe alternatives. The fit and finish were excellent to begin with.
