I love this guitar! It is amazing at this price point. I just got the Epiphone 59 Limited run and while that one is nice prefer the Bonamassa. It's a lot of guitar for the price!

I pre-ordered mine on October 13 and it was delivered November 16th. It is perfect in every way. The craftsmanship is spot on and the frets were all level, seated and dressed properly. It needed a setup as the action was really high but I set all my guitars up myself so that was to be expected. I am absolutely blown away by this guitar. Good job Joe B and Epiphone!

Played through: Orange Rocker 15 Terror, 1x12 Celestion Vintage 30 in a home made cabinet, Gold Rush cable.Ok, so first impression is it looks gorgeous. Fit and finish is well done, I see no flaws in the paint, binding looks very defined. After the initial inspection I tuned up and plugged in. Sounds very good, actually only the second Epiphone I didn't feel a need to swap electronics to sound good to my ears. Cleans chimed, and took the little break up I use quite well. Neck is very chunky, I will have to adapt to this, it doesn't feel bad, I am just not used to it. Transfers vibration very good acoustically. The case is ok, Gold fuzz gets everywhere. I would recommend this for someone who wants something a little different, both in sound and looks. Anyway, back to playing.

Earlier this year, I bought the new 2020 release of the '61 SG with Maestro and thought what a nice recreation and value it was.Just received the new Joe Bonamassa Les Paul Black Beauty and I am equally impressed. Stand outs of this model for me are, #1 Ebony Fingerboard, #2 50s Profile neck, #3 quality pickups and tuners.The only thing I wish Epiphone would have done is to have "toned down" the yellow shade of the binding and inlays. Looks fake actually.Overall very pleased with its playability and the response of the factory pickups. I have the Joe Bonamassa Firebird 1, and the Joe Bonamassa Korina Flying V, and this new Les Paul Custom is another keeper.
