Super value, happy to own and a pleasure to play.
Sound
The Neck Pickup Volume Control did not work so I worked it a few time and I guess it cleaned off and started working. Like the sound of the Mini Humbuckers, sharp biting sound..
Features
Comes with a Certificate in a Hard Card Folder, Poster, Nut Wrench, Epiphone Bumper Sticker, Very Nice Dark Grey Case with Epiphone Logo and the Guitar. For the price I feel this is well worth it. Even though it is collector grade I plan on using. I had a 1962 Epiphone Crestwood Custom and this is really close to what the original is. The Tail Piece “E” Logo is raised, the original was flush. I could see this getting caught and come off in the future. Also on the Tail Piece the Tremolo has a Spring and the original didn’t. This could be a good revision as on the original the sheer pin is all that would hold and it used to break all the time. Last on the Tail Piece the Original did not have a Screw to hold down the tail piece but after the last pin break the tech drilled a hole in mine and put the screw in. This helped prevent further breaks
Ease of Use
My main guitars are Gibson LP's but this is fun to play, brings back great memories. Plays great just how I remember the original. The neck is wide and flat, feels good in my hands. Weight is only around 6 pounds. Very light compared to today’s guitars like the Les Pauls. Feels like you’re playing a SG.
Quality
I went through the guitar and the Quality was Excellent. Not a blemished anywhere. The finish was perfect..
Value
I was surprised on the cost. The Wilshire cost so much more...Glad this was at a cost most can afford..A great value.
Manufacturer Support
As I mentioned above, An Epiphone was my first Electric Guitar, In fact it was a 1962 Crestwood Custom just like this reissue. The only problem I had was with the Tremolo Arm. Other than that the guitar was well made and will last a lifetime. Just wish I still had..
The Wow Factor

My Lead Guitarist has an old Epi that looks just like it only it has just the neck humbucker, ive borrowd it from time to time and love how light and easy to play it is, when i saw this on sale, with the tremotone and 2 mini hb's along with case and goodies i had to invest, i waisted no time pluging it in on my old steven's 20 watt it has very good sound, intonation, feels great, I always test a new guitar with the simplest amp, i found that if there's flaws they show up right now that way, it has fantastic sound and playability for the price i feel it's a steal, it is a great addition to my armory :) I plan on playing it as often as possible, now to plug it into my VT250(FX) another product i'm very happy with that i purchased from Zzounds :) Mua ha ha ha

I had to buy it. I saw it and loved the way it looked from go. I read up and looked for one for a while but nobody seemed to have the white one. i waited and waited and finally pulled the trigger on the cherry one. I was very pleased. when it arrived. Fit and finish were perfect. I love the way mini humbuckers sound so it sounded great. I think two giant "e"s on one guitar are too much so I wish it would have had only one but this is obviously something that is not a deal breaker. The case is very cool and the inside is plush looking, The vinyl on the outside was poorly glued and is coming off unfortunately. i called ZZOUNDS and the asked for a few pics and gave me a small refund which more than satisfied the situation. I LOVE THIS GUITAR!!!

I thank you so much. I had the Wilshire (same year) that I got from Henry at the old Manny's on 48th St. in '63. Always dreamed, hoped, and looked for something close. You passed it with this guitar. I don't know how it was possible to make this great a guitar and sell it so reasonably. Thanks again!!

Musical Background:

In bands since '62, still gigging every Fri. night

"Great guitar , thanks Epiphone :)"

I obtained one of these instruments when they were reissued a few years ago . I still have it :) it is great . :) Why ? It looks kind of different , which , well , in my opinion is cool indeed . The sound , well , it sounds like an electric guitar . I got all the items that were included . One thing , the tremolo bar swings , and does not stay put , even with the Teflon , or what ever the washer/spacer is made of which of under the tremolo bar attachment end , being in place . But , that isn't really any problem , just an observation . I have not caught any clothing on the raised "E" , on the tremolo tail piece thing , yet . It is plainly put , a very excellent (to me) electric guitar , again , thanks Epiphone :)
