Absolutely a joy to play. Changed strings. For an inexpensive travel guitar sounds great. I couldn't put it down. Bravo Epiphone.

"Lil Guitar, Big Sound!"

I just received my Lil Tex Wednesday and I am so happy with it! I have a Little Martin (because I am a little woman) but my Tex is a much better size and a lot more lightweight. The frets even seem to be a little closer together so it is easier for me to play. Very comfortable, and the sound! Very bold. My little Martin is nice plugged in, but lacks a bit acoustically. Not this one! And it reverberates seemingly for a good minute. Today I plugged it in for the first time, and had to turn my amp way way down. Like I said BIG sound! A very light strum is perfect. I only had to tune it a few times on the first day, and it's kept it's tune. Great guitar and I LOVE it!!! I am more of a baritone ukelele and standard ukelele player; really kinda learning the ropes on the guitar. And, as I said, it's not easy to find one small and still very warm and resonant for me. Until now! I would say it's perfect for us smaller people and beginners or just anyone who wants a lighter weight guitar.
