WOW! A little context; I have different types of speakers in cabs but mainly use a EVH 5153 4x12 and 2 Orange PPC412's with V30's. As much as I love all of those, today I put two of these in in a 2x12 cab that I had laying around and was just absolutely blown away when I plugged in and heard them for the first time. I did a side by side with the V30's, which I'm a huge fan of, and these were cleaner and have massive, deep and chuggy, smooth yet angry punch! The cleans are clean, the distortion all comes from your amp and not speaker breakup. I just want to play and play to keep hearing how amazing they sound. Every time I play, it's the same excitement I got the first time I heard them. This is the first review I've written on here and I felt compelled because it was almost a religious experience for me. Haha. They are expensive, and my GOD are they heavy as sin when you start adding them together and consider the box, even just two to a 2x12 box, but the sound they push out is second to no speaker I've ever heard personally. I'm no professional but I can't imagine anyone not at least liking these, I love them. If you decide to use them in a 4x12, like myself, get at least two or three roadies to do the lifting.

"You get what you pay for."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars

If you’re thinking about pulling the trigger on these, just do it. It was money well spent and I’m closer to that perfect tone than I ever have been in 25 years of heavy metal and rock. I took the stock speakers out of my Randall 1503 2 x 12 combo amp and replace them with these… However good you think that sounds, I assure you, it sounds better. I mean really, hard to go wrong with Zach Wylde endorsed speakers in a Dimebag endorsed amplifier line. The only thing to be aware of before you buy is that the wire terminals on these speakers are spring loaded. So, if the cables from your amplifier are crimped at all you’re going to have to bust out your wire strippers and do a little electrical work. Remember to unplug it first, safety safety safety!
Sound
Again, I put Zack Wylde speakers into a Dimebag amplifier… I may have accidentally created a monster that Thor would be willing to trade in his hammer for. The roar and aggressiveness is absolutely insane, and the best part is there is no loss of articulation at any volume and every frequency I push through it sounds like it was made to sound that way.
Features
They are heavy! You will get your workout moving your amplifier from gig to gig. Thank of it as an added bonus, new speakers that also double as free weights on the side.
Ease of Use
Other than the minor wiring issue that iron countered as stated in the above description, a couple screws, plug in some wires, and you’ve got yourself a fire breathing demon.
Quality
I hate the phrase built like a tank, but if I had a tank and wanted to blast slipknot as I was charging the enemy these would probably be louder than the machine guns. I can’t imagine these not being built to last for a long, long time. One of the most durable and well-made pieces of gear I’ve ever bought.
Value
Yup.
Manufacturer Support
Luckily, I have had no need.
The Wow Factor
They’re expensive, sure. But again, you get what you pay for. Think of it as only having to buy the good stuff once. When you look at the overall value and the sound that come out of these, I think they’re worth every penny. Luckily, ZZounds payment installment plan is a gift from the Gods, and has allowed many a poor player such as myself to do what we love to do.

"EVM BLACK LABEL"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
In this modern day with guitar shops shrinking and closing it hard to TRY BEFORE YOU BUY anymore.... This is a real problem with non return items such as speakers.... Doubly so with EVM due to their high price.... Even after reading tons of reviews it was hard to believe that people were ACTUALLY THIS HYPED on these speakers, I had to ask myself if they weren't just telling themselves these things were good because they dropped a ton of money they can't get back..... I bought ONE to test the water.... I have to say that all the great things you read are 666% TRUE!!!! I installed my single EVM in a 3 way PA speaker cabinet I gutted, basically creating an oversized 1x12 cab which I insulated and left the ports open on.... They say you basically can't blow these things and I truly put it to the test and ran it ALONE with a Peavey 120/120 tube rack amp MONO 240..... This was/is a high gain setup using a XXX head as a pre amp (with a dummy load) for the power amp.... The EVM took the power very well and exhibited fat lows and cutting highs!!!!! Kept up with my heavy handed drummer all on its own!!!!!! Being a single 12 it did have limitations with 240 tube watts thrown at it but what can you expect???? After that absolutely BRUTAL test I ran it paralleled with the same 240 power and a 300w 412 cabinet, this is where it really did truly shine and acted as a "low rotor" of sorts for this high power setup... Smoothing everything out in a most wonderful way and bass CHONK for DAYS, don't even get me started on the pinch harmonics and whammy dives and climbs, outta this world.... I'll be getting another and I really believe that 2 will be more than enough.... All this was done with a 7 string Floyd Rose guitar in B standard and death metal gain freak tones.... I love my lows and I love my whammy high SQUEEEEEEE and all of it loud and CLEAR (yet high gain) and it's hard to achieve that all.... The EVM filled the weak spots that were bugging me of my already pretty monstrous sound.... So if you're wondering, STOP and just buy one like I finally did..... You won't look back.... Any questions FEEL FREE to message me on Facebook under "Benjamin Boes" ......

These speakers last practically forever if taken care of properly and they're almost bullet proof.
Sound
I build tube amps and I am always looking for a speaker that will translate the purity of tone that my amps produce. Well, I've found it! A pair of these hooked to my amp head and I was floored! Pure, uncolored sound with efficiency to boot. If you're looking for a speaker to reproduce the sound of a good tube amp, and the tone in your hands, this is it!
Features
It's a speaker
Ease of Use
Bolt it on and us the push clips to connect the wire... no soldering required!
Quality
Hand made in the good ole' USA. Doesn't get any better than that!
Value
It's a bit pricey but nothing really good comes cheap. If you are like me you've probably bought 20 speakers and never really found the sound in your head. Compared to that it's cheap.

im satisfied since 1992 in all day use and very much high class party
Sound
I use these speaker as a main top style with high power amp and nothing have a better response and dry sound... i mean they have so much reserve on the mid frequency, it's unbeleivable i used to play House underground, or old style pure rock 70 to 80's classic and disco.
Features
i used 350 watts 8ohms per channel from behringer 2000pl amplifier and it's perfect u will never need to clip the amp to get good power sound and the speaker wil never heat ( i made all the test )
Ease of Use
For guitar, bass, Rave underground, or live for Disco mobile its perfect.
Quality
i have these model since 1992, and u cannot imagine how much time i used at the maximum sound level i was abble to give him... what great party ive made...
Value
u never loose the pricing value, today no speaker can deliver a quality like that and real music fanatic know it.
Manufacturer Support
never have to use service.
The Wow Factor
i dont care about the price i will paid for a next pair of the spectacular speaker.
