The effects this thing can create are phenomenal. While playing live using the shimmer effect people tell me they kept looking for the organ playing with us and were amazed to hear it was just my pedal. If you are looking for a delay pedal with something more this is it! Electro Harmonix hit it out of the park with this one. Don't think I'll purchase another pedal brand again.

Just received the pedal today, can't say enough about the rapid service from zZounds, ordered yesterday and waiting for me when I got home from work today, well done. As for the pedal, I've spent a couple hours with it and honestly haven't left the DMM setting, which is a fantastic delay. While I'm sure I'll get around to experimenting with the other available delay options I am quite pleased with the Deluxe Memory Man setting and would've been pleased with this pedal even if that were the only available delay setting.

Been playing guitar for over 40 years, strictly a hobbyist/Home player these days.

EHX is an old hand at stomp boxes so they are always my first place to look when I want a pedal. This delay does not disappoint. Slapback to lush ambient shimmers, it does it all very well.. Check out the EHX channel on YouTube to hear it for yourself. Great value for such a powerful delay.

"Filling the quiet canyon"

From "Stinging Velvet," one of my favorite Neko Case songs: "Sing please, rock me to sleep / Quiet as a canyon, up under heaven's eaves / I surrender, surrender." The Canyon pedal could FILL Case's quiet canyon -- beautifully. For the distinctive "canyon cocktail" sound sought by my band Badlands Lounge, there could be no better effects pedal -- even on bass, which is how we're deploying it. I've only had it for a week, so I've just skimmed the surface of its capabilities, but: so far, so amazing. And easy to use, too! (Also, the graphics on the box rule.) I surrender, surrender. You should too.
