I had this box "just in case" for at least five years without ever needing it but that time finally came and it saved the show. Used it on a laptop output that I had going into my mixer and the shrill hum just disappeared. It finally paid off. I will also place it inline within my sound truck's system on a permanent basis to get rid of a subtle yet mysteriously-sourced hum ahead of the amps--I'm going to get another one for kicks!

didn't seem to affect the sound quality of original signal other than eliminating the hum

worked as advertised - eliminated a ground hum in my main speakers that I couldn't get rid of otherwise
