Got these after ordering some Seymour Duncan’s that were not F spaced. Put them on my 20 yr old Jackson Kelly, replacing Duncan Design pickups. Was a great fit recommended by Zack in sales department. Cool! Cool! I love the Lows not bassy go through you but a thick wood tone. Great open sound. Highs were just right and the clarity and separation of these pickups was amazing. Definitely a great pickup!

The good:- For me, goldilocks output (not too hot, not too cold).- VERY articulate/great note separation.- VERY dynamic/responsive to pick attack.- Present but not overbearing highs.- Growling and slightly vocal mids.- Surgically tight low end.- A sonic axe-murderer when overdriven, wears a nice smoking jacket when played clean. The bad:- Can have a bit too much of an 'in your face' attitude with heavy distortion.- Not the greatest pickup for very bright guitars.Overall, a fantastic option for those who don't always want blistering output.

Musical Background:

Tinkerer/torturer of guitars for 15+ years.

Musical Style:

Mostly hard rock and progressive fare with occasional forays into blues and fuzzy madness.
