I had never heard of Darkglass before. Every bass player needs a good DI, and even more importantly a good distortion pedal that doesn’t take away the low end. I haven’t got to try out the DI yet live, but boy does this thing know how to make your bass growl! You can get most any tone you want from this thing! The blend option is so important, as to be able to mix in your dry signal to the distorted one, keeps all the low end you want that way! I love this pedal! Finally a manufacturer specifically designed for bass effects!

This thing is a monster. I love it and it is something that I am glad that I have bought. has that tone that you are looking for. One Drawback for this product. is that they are in Finland and repairs have to be done thru Korg USA, however they were right on top of my exchange of my 2 year manufacturer's warranty.
