This charvel feels like a dream and is unbelievably easy to play. Most musicians would tell you ( well those that played em) charvels have the greatest necks known to man. You could play for hours on this fretboard and hardly feel it. Outplays guitars costing 4/5k times more. I own those as well.Charvel is still top of the mountain, as was the case in the 80s.. Rock on!!

"$900 is too much"

It's simply not worth the money. Body wood is extremely soft, easily pick scarred. Finish is very thin and rubs off after only minutes of playing. I ended up sanding the body down and repainting it. Neck is ok. Fast action, but the ebony is more open pored than I am used to and not consistently colored. It's not your father's ebony. Pickups sound good, but I would actually prefer to not have the S1 switching. It stays in tune pretty well. Overall, there are better options for $900. I should have bought a guitar that I was able to play and inspect first, I guess. Lesson learned.
