It’s been years since i owned a Charvel, back in the late 90’s. Decent back then, just didn’t feel right. Wound up needing something with a Floyd, my Player Tele wasn’t built for some things i do. Puttered around, didn’t see anything good in my (low) budget range. Cheese woods, house brand pickups, brand licensed hardware. I’m not a snob by any means, but I do want something that’s going to last, with no modifications required. Found this one, was waffling between this and a Sun Valley. Top notch quality, solid material, top level hardware, finish, setup, all excellent. Gold hardware is hard to pull off, this one is perfect. Darker colors would make the gold stick out. It blends in perfectly here. It glows. Plugged into my trusty Rocktron G300 and Velocity LTD100 into an Avatar 2x12 wired stereo. Wow. Couldn’t be happier.
