This Charvel So Cal is everything I was hoping it would be. I've owned a lot of mid-level guitars most of my days until a couple years ago I finally got an American telecaster that plays and sounds sweet and somewhat effortlessly. I missed the the whammy bar a bit that I have on my old MIM Strat, and the strat feel but wanted something that would stay in tune when dive bombed and actually have a nice neck lol. This guitar fits that bill and then some. The neck plays like a dream for fast runs and chording. The Floyd Rose is nice and keeps the guitar in tune after a good amount of to the floor dive bomb, and up to a whole note above. The factory setup was great also!! The push pull knob for coil splitting is handy. I feel like I might upgrade the pickups at some point but am pretty happy so far with the Seymour Duncans it comes with. I love this guitar as much as my more expensive tele. I have the primer gray, it's a nice finish. Thank you Zz for a great experience!
