If you've wondered how some players are getting a warm, really thick lead tone, this pedal is it. Just set it to mimic doubling your track (higher repeat rate, lower echo and intensity to taste) When i first stumbled across this, years ago, I immediately thought "OOOH thats how they get that tone!" Also does a perfect slapback delay and the new custom option opens it up the options for rhythm or Pink Floyd like leads. This oedal seems to sit perfect in the mix at gigs, repeats didn't get in the way or disappear, Highly recommend!

Wow! I read a lot of reviews and watched a couple dozen videos for a analog delay that was right for me. I chose the boss waza over the mxr carbon copy. I'm glad i did! It gave me that psychedelic blues sound that I've been searching for, very much versatile that i thought it would give. This pedal is perfect for slap back delay aswell! I love how after im done with a solo, i can dial the intensity to 10 and self oscillate the signal to give me trippy sounds. Its perfect for me. Built solid has all boss pedals are, definitely will last a life time! Super satisfied and i give this a 5 out of 5! Definitely worth the money! You're getting the classic dm-2 pedal from the early 80s with the switch to custom that gives you a modern delay up to 800ms. So stoked, buy one now!!

"Great Pedal, I prefer Digital Delay to Analog sort."

Everything was great about the Boss DM-2W from build quality to sound, etc...very nice pedal with very cool options of expression pedal control and Wet/Dry Outputs. I prefer Digital Delays to Analog. Analog delays have warmer repeats and Iprefer more crisp, brighter repeats. There is a "grainy" quality to the repeats of the DM--2W that some users may not like, it is there and is apparent. I've read other users report the same findings. If you like Analog Delays, give this a try, it is quality, just not for me.
