Behringer TP300 Ultra Tremolo Panner Pedal

Dial in '60s-style tremolo or sweet auto-panning with the Behringer TP300. A red LED blinks at the tremolo rate, so you can stay in time with your effects.

"A great tremelo pedal with stereo auto-panning as an added plus."

I purchased the Behringer TP300 Ultra Tremelo/Pan effect pedal for use with my light-weight solid state amp that does not have a built-in tremelo. After placing the order with zZounds it took only two days to arrive! Gaining access to the battery compartment was a bit awkward. With a pen or similar slim, pointed obect, you push in the spring-loaded hinge pins on both sides of the foot switch cover which frees the cover from the pedal. Getting the cover back on took me a few minutes but after you do it a few times you get the hang of it. After plugging in, it took me less than a minute to dial in my favorite tremelo that I use with my Twin Reverb. Depth at 9 o'clock, rate at 2 or 3 o'clock, Mode switch in first (top) position. To test the stereo pan modes I added a second output cable and into a second amp. Very cool. The TP300's mode switch allows you to set a gradual (smooth) panning between outputs or an instantaneous (hard) switch between outputs, both with adjustable rates (speed). The pedal housing is made of durable plastic and will hold up under reasonable use. The TP300 will produce your favorite tremelos and everything in between and the under $30 price-point makes it a no-brainer. I recommend this pedal to guitarists AND keyboardists. Fender Rhodes players have used tremelo and auto-panning on many 70's-80's cool jazz recordings.
