When they say they captured the amp 'feel', they were right. It's not 100%, but it's more evident than any other modeler I've tried. Build is solid. Models, while really only a handful, sound great, fx too. Comes with PT10, costing $700 by itself. This bundle is a steal, comparatively. Will submit a more detailed follow up review in future.If the AxeFx is only slightly better, it's the biggest waste of money out there. For that kinda money, just get a real tube amp with a rack fx unit and have the 'real deal', not a simulation. Save the $$$, get this or POD HD Pro and add on or upgrade something else in your rig/studio with the change.

The Avid ELEVEN RACK Is something i've wanted for a LONG TIME,..BUT,Thanks to Zzounds having it On sale for $600+ instead of the usual Close to $900,and the 4 payment Plan,I HAD TO GET IT! Before I get into the Rack itself,..The PRO TOOLS 10 SOFTWARE BUNDLE That's INCLUDED With the Rack,is $700 by itself,..so all the AXE-FX FANS can have Claim their units are Superior,.Yadda,Yadda,Yadda,BUT,After trying one out,I WAS NOT IMPRESSED A Bit about the Fractal Multi-FX,Amp modeling Rack,AND,AFTER PLUGGING INTO THE ELEVEN RACK,Seeing the ENDLESS POSIBILITIES and Capabilities Of the Eleven rack IN ADDITION To the PRO-TOOLS SOFTWARE and what you can do in Conjunction with the eleven rack,..I'm HAPPY I WENT WITH AVID!! The Original "Bugs" have been worked out,No Latency Problems, EASILY PROGRAMMED,Has the FEEL Of a REAL LIVE TUBE AMP,..people that say it DOESN'T Just Aren't taking the time to do more than taking PRESETS Already there and NOT taking Time to TWEAK to their Own Ear! And with the ProTools 10 Bundle,..You can get ANY TONE YOU WOULD EVER WANT!! Just READ THE MANUAL,TAKE THE TIME To Experiment with the ENDLESS COMBINATIONS OF FX and Their Own Tone,and YOU WILL BE AN ELEVEN RACK FAN FOR LIFE!!! I GUARANTEE IT!
